Collier Swecker video blogs about there are some real excited Real Estate Agents who are so excited to get listings that they will give prospective Sellers irrationally high list prices just so that they can get the listing. Soon after these unprofessional agents get the listing they are calling their Sellers and asking for them to drop the price because they are not getting any showings at that high price. Duh! These agents are costing their clients money and causing a general distrust of real estate agents in general. A skilled agent knows how to price a home so that it will attract the most prospective buyers and will generate offers while talentless agents overprice listings and mislead their Sellers.
